Robert Hall has become one of the most popular special effects makeup artists in Hollywood. Hall's creatures were featured weekly on WB's Angel, just as they were seen on UPN's popular series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Miracles, The Shield, Judging Amy, Point Pleasant, and The Inside. Most recently Hall did subtle aging prosthetics on S. Epatha Merkerson for HBO's Lackawanna Blues, the film was nominated for best Makeup and Merkerson won for best actress.
In 1996, Hall decided it was time to step out on his own and set up his own studio. With the company's name pulled from the title of a KISS song, Almost Human special effects makeup studio was born. Since its inception Almost Human has become one of the best in creating the industry most talked about corpses, body parts, monsters, zombies and demons, and realistic subtle character makeups.
